Takanini Central, Takanini: SOLD $48million

Takanini, Auckland

Project Overview

Takanini Central was a residential development comprising 88 free-standing homes, delivered during the early stages of growth in the Takanini corridor. At the time, it was one of the first developments in the immediate area and played a role in unlocking the surrounding neighbourhood for future residential expansion.
The project contributed to the early shaping of Takanini as an emerging suburban community, providing modern standalone homes designed to meet the growing demand for family housing in South Auckland.

My Role

I was responsible for bringing the development to market and personally delivering the entire sales programme from strategy through to completion.
My involvement extended beyond sales. I advised on product positioning, critiqued floor plans, and guided the allocation of individual lots, ensuring the development aligned with market demand and buyer expectations.
In addition, I designed and executed the sales and marketing strategy, positioning the development effectively within the local market and driving buyer engagement throughout the release phases.

Outcome

The project achieved strong market absorption and played an important role in establishing Takanini as one of Auckland’s key residential growth areas.

Perspective

This project reflects my approach to development strategy: aligning product design, market positioning, and sales execution to deliver developments successfully from concept through to market delivery.
